FYI - The KOFA NWR is now taking a stand opposing the earlier proposed new Devers-Palo Verde Powerline which will parallel the existing power line traversing the northern portion of the refuge. The concern being that construction and maintenance of the new powerline may negatively impact the movement of bighorn sheep during lambing season.
